Kenwood support on a bluetooth KDC-U7046BT that doesnt actually do what it is supposed to has been appaling. I have spent hours on several calls to their service dept about the sound quality to the receiver of call from the car head unit. The sound is worse than a 2 way radio and not fit for use. People at the other end of the call can not understand what you are saying and hang up. Kenwood claim thats how it is and wont speak to me any more so I am stuck with a product that they agree is poor but thats how it is.
I dont believe the product is faulty and knew this all along but they insisted on me sending it in for testing. Once it came back nothing has changed.
Every time I call they refer me to a junior administrator and the manager has washed his hands of the issue. The albeit very young girl has no product knowledge and simply relays what she has been told and cannot answer any questions and takes notes.
They never answer the phone and you must leave a message to be called back in their time... They do call back but not by a qualifed tech who can assist. They then take notes and the tech calls back in their time.... god help you if you miss that call becasue thats the end of their responsibillity and you start from scratch calling back through the switch to leave another message.
