Had Kenwood Bluetooth unit KCA BT300 fitted to link my Apple I phone 3 withy my 4 year old Kenwood head unit DDX 16039 and enjoy the promised benefits outlined in the glossy brochure
promoting the latter. (my previous phone was a Chinese dud and incompatible with the latter).
I have had my Pathfinder back to the retailer, Ryda .com more timers than I can member until I am sure I am now on the top of their nuisance file. Each time they re set the Bluetooth unit following its failure, I have to re set all my presets as they are all lost during the proceedure. I desperartion I had both units removed and submitted to Kenwlood for servce and they prnouced them failtless but replaced a chip in the BT300 as a precaution Ryda to their credit removed and replaced the units free of charge. Naturaly the unit failed yet again and Ryda can not see me until mid January. I mysteriously reconnected during an out of cradle call which I initiated and a subsequent test call displayed the words 'Roger's Phone' instead of the now all too familiar 'Not Connected' . All receipts, correspondence and Kenwood reports are available by Fax if required
to substantiate my complaint and my quest for satisfaction, refund or replacement by a product that acrually works...and at no further cost of inconvenience to me
