Airtel Broadband & Land Line Services ( Gujarat, India)

On Apr 24, I applied for a new Airtel Broadband connection in Chennai after the callers continuosly calling me to apply for one. A person came and collected the amount from me. After that I didnt get any response from Airtel. I myself called the concerned person on Apr 30. They informed me that connection box in my area is full and I will get connection after a week. Initially they told me that I will be getting connection within 4 days. I registered a complaint(19474248) to the customer care. They told me that I will be answered within May 7. But I didnt get any calls from anybody after that. Collecting the amount initially and not updating the status is very bad. I havent received a single call updating the status. Why should I wait for 15 days to get a new broadband connection when there are lot of competitors around? Do they not know that the connection box is full initially when they collected the amount from me? Nobody minds to update the status. Their sole aim to get the money and leave the customer unattended. And after calling several times, they let me know that they have sent back the amount to me while I was waiting for the connection! What a bad service it is?? Anything may be the status. Should not they update the customer who has given the money? I feel bad about it.
