I ordered some books from amazon. They sent the parcel by citylink for a next day delivery, thurs 3 Jan. When it never arrived I called citylink to ask where my parcel was. They told me they had tried to deliver it that morning. I said you never because I have been waiting in all day. I phoned them again around 5 or 6 times the next day and they kept saying they would call me back. They never so I had to keep calling them. In the end they said that they were trying to get through to their Swindon depot. They eventually said that they were tryint to locate the parcel in the depot. I said so you've lost it then, they said no we're trying to locate it! I spoke to amazon customer services on the monday and they said they had received an email from citylink 5 days earlier to say they'd lost it! Why couldn't citylink have said that to me when I kept phoning them. This is the worst case of customer care I have ever had the misfortune to have experienced and would advise anyone with a business not to use them as they will give your business a bad name. I certainly won't be ordering from amazon again until they change their courier.
