Dear Consumer, This letter is to advise of the appalling service I received at this supposedly ‘accredited’ Beauty Salon, F.A.C.E at Southport, Saturday 28 June 2008. I reserved an appointment for 9am for a massage and stood out the font waiting for this store to change the sign from CLOSED to OPEN. I was kept waiting for a further 20 minutes whilst 2 staff members ignored me at the front of the store. I did not bang on the door like a desperate person as they seemed busy behind the counter (although no customers were in the store) and as the door had the CLOSED sign up, I thought best to wait. In the end I had to leave because I was late for a 2nd appointment. 10 minutes later I received a call from the Manager, Jacqui who was upset at me for missing my appointment. I advised that I had stood out the front for 20 minutes and could not wait any long for a 1 hour massage as I had another appointment after. She then advised and I quote “Oh this is silly, you should of come in, we saw you outside waiting for ages”. I advised I am not the a person that bangs on doors begging to come in for an appointment, especially when I had stood directly out front of the door for 20 mins in which they ignored me. The Manager, Jacqui, then advised in a sarcastic tone to “have a nice day” and rudely hung up. There was no apology or even a “can we reschedule for another time?”. I then informed my family about the harsh treatment in which another family member rang F.A.C.E to obtain the Owners name etc. Unfortunately Jacqui is the sole owner. Because of Jacqui’s insolence, I have now missed out on my free massage that was owed to from a $100 voucher that I purchased, I have also been emotionally abused as well as a family member. At no time was I rude or offensive. Actually I was too shocked to say anything back to her! I honestly advise all people who use this beautician to please be very careful when using their services especially the $100.00 beauty voucher as they may be trying to swindle you out of your appointments before the cut off date. The Manager Jacqui, clearly has no customer service skills and I am very surprised that at how she spoke so aggressively and rudely to myself. I advise everyone to please use another beautician on the Gold Coast because surely we deserve to be treated fairly when paying for expensive treatments.
