Yestersay around 5:55pm I went into the Fantastic Sams in Woodland Hills, their number 818-888-9393. I asked the guy at the front desk if my hair can be colored since it is down to my waist. He went and asked Ruben the manager or the owner I dont know. What the price is, so the guy came back to me and said it would cost about $64.99. I said great, I will get my hair colored. I must have waited 30min while walk in customers with short hair got their hair cut though they came after me. I was understanding I figured that they wanted to service the simple cuts and take care of me later, so I waited patiently. Finally Carmen the lady that was going to color my hair, asked me to come over to her station and I did just that. Then she said that they can only highlight my hair that they do not color. i said okay then you can highlight my hair. Then Carmen walked over to Ruben and said something and told me that she can not highlight hair, I said ok,since I have waited for soo long can she cut my hair giving long bangs, she said okay. Then she started to get me ready to cut my hair. I advised her please can you wash my hair so you can cut it better, Carmen with a dis-satisfaction on her face washed my hair. Then she started complaining to me WHY do Indian people have such long hair and its sooo thick and how long I had lived in this country. i explained to her I had lived in the U.S. since I was 7yrs old, so about give or take 21yrs in the states. It gets even worse, Carmen turns to Zari another hair dresser and says look at this girls hair it's soo much. Then Carmen asked me when I got my last hair cut, I explained to her about 4-5 months ago. Then Carmen starts argueing with me telling me no It must have been more than one year ago. okay, I told her what ever you say, taht's fine. Then my hair was dripping wet and Carmen said she was done cutting my hair. i told her can you please blow dry my hair, and Carmen said she will place me under the dryer, i refused due to my personal reasons. At that point Zari and Carmen were spaeking in english bad about me like...whats wrong with her why cant she use the dryer...and got soo much hair over and over till I could not stand it. Who wants to be put down and million times when they just simply came in for a hair cut?? not me! I finally could not bare it and told Carmen you can stop putting me down and my gosh my hair is not that thick, it's just that I am not bold. I went overto ruben to place a complaint and he REFUSED to take my compalint or to do anything about it. They all were screaming at me and saying that I was a liar. I asked Ruben for at least a consumer line and he gave me this number 714-466-9800 which is to another store not to fantastic sams corporate consumer number. They were very emotionally abusive, they defermatted my character, messed up my hair and hurt me very badly. I would appreciate someone getting back to me before further action and I need my hair fixed. Also, I was talking to my collegue about this experience and she had a similar one herself a few weeks ago. Why is this happening??
