I went here when i was a disturbed teen----i didn't meet with Dr. Amen, the SPECT scanning was rushed, the interview was rushed---I intentionally thought the craziest thoughts i could while in the machine, cause no one told me what to do when inside. When i got out an attendant said it looked liek i might have brain damage in the back of my head-----it was devastating, deterministic----and they really didn't know anythign of what they were talking about-----they put me on too many meds, the type of meds which increase dopamine-----totally wrong for someone with possible bi-polar----a big mistake for a businees that charges an arma n a leg supposedly toget you on right medecine.. After this i lost faith in doctors, I quit all meds, got bettter through hard work and taking care of myself, got a college dregree---did it all without drugs and doctors. If someone feeds you a line fo determinism----don't listen. Even if i do have bipolar---it was me that got my life under control, not the amen clinic, or the totally wrong meds they put me on-----they are profiting shamelessly off of commercializing mental illness----they ae not good doctors, they are just good at marketing.
