Do not visit the Arab cafe in Lorne if you want good food or value for money. We ordered eggs bearnaise and got a cold piece of toast with an egg with a Kraft single melted over it. My toasted ham, cheese and tomato sandwich was an absolute joke and our kids had a two dry pieces of raisin toast. All of this for around $50! The waiters were humourless and appeared to be backpackers with no experience who just didn't care. Our visit to the Arab was the worst thing that happened on our week in Lorne.

After spending a few days in Lorne over the easter break we walked over to the Arab cafe , we ordered dips and two coffee's .. the service was second rate !! the dips were served at room temp..... what the??, do they not have a fridge ??? and to top it all off the place was full of flies, flies on every table .. no wonder we were the only family in there.. we drank our coffee's didnt touch the dips and i walked over to the counter asked to pay for what i can only call a joke on a plate(food poisoning waiting to happen) i did even get a smile or thankyou .. do yourself a big favour people give this place a big miss !!!!
