I received a 3kg prepaid overnight bag Sydney to Waikerie (SA) from Australian Air Express that took a week to arrive.
(Waikerie is a large town less than 2 hours drive from Adelaide)
I called and asked the operator how long it would take to send an overnight bag Sydney to Waikerie, she says overnight, 2 day max.
I advised her that I had just received such an item that took a week.
She explained that a week is a perfectly acceptable delivery time under the terms of their contracts.
I asked to speak to her supervisor, who reiterated the previous claim that the 1 week delivery time was an acceptable delivery time for an overnight parcel, and rudely hung up as I asked for clarification.
Remember that name - Australian Air Express, "Where Overnight takes a Week".
AUSTRALIAN AIR EXPRESS - WORST COURIER COMPANY I HAVE EVER USED
On occation I order computer parts from Victoria to South Australia where I live. The company I order from use AAE (Australian Air Express). In the last year I have ordered 15 - 20 parcels from AAE. Every single one has had to be picked up from the depot! What is the point of a courier service if I have to pick up my parcel! Every time I have been home and no one rings my doorbell or knocks on my door, they simply just put a slip in my mail box and disappear. This morning, I have been awake with 2 other people since 4am and I heard no door bell ring or door knock. So they are definitely not even making an attempt to deliver the parcel to me!!!!!!!!!! This is not the only problem, once I recieve their little yellow slip this means I have to wait until a small time window of between 5.30pm and 6pm to pick up my parcel which I have to drive to get to.Ontop of that the phone staff are extremely rude, in particular "Jo", who I just got off the phone to. Everytime I try to ask for a supervisor "None are available". Absolute horrid company.
