Hi!
On May 2011 Bradlows fitted me a kitchen unit. Before end of January 2012 I've paid it in full amount which means there was no balance in my account even though I have had some few problems with the unit.
At first they came to fix the problem even though they attended to it after one and half months of waiting. As long as they debit customers account, they don't care about their customers.
Its been a month again since my unit top is peeling, I called their head office & still waiting for them to fix it.
i bought the sofas at rustenburg steen street in aug 2010,i have settled my account on the 17th feb 2012 but they debited R1100 from my bank acc on the 28th feb 2012.i need my money back aqu urgent as possible,my acc balance with bradlows is
R0,00
i have bought goods from bradlows.unfortunately i was retrenched.i told them i dont have a job at the moment, they dont want to wait until i start my business.i told them i will pay all theamount when i start my business.they refuse to bare with me.they want to reposess
I bought a dinning room suite cash from Bradlows Klerksdorp on Friday 30 Sept 2011, even to date there is no delivery. We contacted the store several times and each time their excuse is that they still have to go to Jhb to collect it. What happened to 48hrs delivery policy?
Further i believe that i do not learn, this is not the first time i receive such a shoddy service from Bradlows Klerksdorp, i bought lounge suit from them and on delivery i found out that the two sitter's foot was damaged i reported the matter to them and it took them three months before they come to uplift the damaged sitter, and to date (05 October 2011) i am still waiting fir them to return it.
AUDIOVISION = TAKE YOUR MONEY AND RUN!
I bought a R20000 50inch plasma tv from audionvision in canal walk in March this year. We opted for this Panasonic tv as we were told it is top of the range and has a built in after image reduction unit, which is a big plus on a plasma, as they are after time prone to have an image burn problem.
We had the tv for as little as 4-5 months, and already, have a image burn problem on it. They came to collect the tv on the 26th July 2011 to see what the problem was. The service people called me to say they cannot get rid of this “image burn” but it looks much better now, and they are running a white wash (I think that’ is the correct term) on te set to see if they can further reduce the problem. This has not been able to be done according to the service people. I told them, in that case, I am not interested in getting that tv back, as it still has a problem with it and I wanted it either replaced or refunded. I then got hold of both Audiovision and Panasonic directly via email, and have since had quite a few mails back and forth basically telling me there is nothing they can do except keep trying to fix the problem. I am at this point not interested in that anymore, as the problem is obviously not going to be fixed, and I am under the impression they are just stalling to buy time. Now, they say, this is not under any warranty on the tv, which is fine, BUT, surely a R20000 tv which is "top of the range" shouldn't have a problem after 5 months? I want my money back from Audionvision and will rather spend it on something else rather than having this stress and problem, and them sitting with R20000 of my money happily.
Please can someone advise me as to where I stand with this, what is my rights, because at the moment, I am out of pocket of R20000 as well as no tv in my house (besides a 32” lcd they left here)
I am extremely dissatisfied with the level of service as well as the attitude I am getting from the people I have been in contact with as well. They are basically telling me there is nothing they are willing to do to refund me, and I must basically live with the problem after spening all that money with them. I cannot and will not accept this as a solution to my problem… its quite simple, I just don’t want this tv, and I want my money back
I bought sofa's from Bradlows Rustenburg in Steen Street on the 29 March 2011. I got the sofas but the one sitter is not straight, and the finishing on them is not up to good standard that can last long. I reported on the 30th March 2011. Up until now no one has come to check on the Sofas. I reported to the store manager,my salesman and the stock controller.
On the 31st August 2011, I went to the shop to lodge my dissatisfaction. The store manager was not available, I spoke to my salesman and the stock controller. They promised to come to my house that very day or the following day the 01st September 2011. They never came or called.
On Wednesday I told them that if they dont come I am going to take action. My salesman said "wait until Monday then you can take your action. I am not happy with the treatment from these three gentlemen. No customer service, no after service follow up. Hope to get solution after this complaint.
I recently went to Bradlows Jabulani mall, where a branch manager Phiri was very helpful. I was spoilt for choice in choosing lounge sofa, he assisted me then agreed that I must got and find from my mother which sofas she likes before signing the deal off and yes that is what I did. And instead of the sofas I chose for her she like something diffrent which I went back to sort out. So now problem now is, the sofas that we want are advertised on the catalogue but today I received a call from Phiri saying that unfortunately they do not have at all and they aren't manufacturing those anymore, so my question is why advertise something you don't have. I want those sofas and I need Bradlows to keep their promise.
On the 09 August 2011 I finalised a deal with Bradlows King Williams Town. On Thursday the 11 August I saw an advert on page 12 Daily Sun newspaper that said if you have bought for R7999 or more you will get R1000. I enquired on the 12th from the Branch as I qualified for that and they said they do not know that, they were not told by the Head Office. I tried to phone and log a complint with Head Office, instead I was sent from pillar to post that I must go back to my Branch which is waiting for Head Office to tell them. Where is Customer Service, what does the NCA says. The moment you sign on the dotted line they dont care about you.
I have complain about the following items that I bought from Bradlows but it fell on deaf ears as usual, soon as you sign for the debit order to go through every month, no one from the store cares about your complain all and will keep telling you they will fix or call you and that will only be a dream.
1. I bought a heard board which i can't screw together (Factory Fault) 2.A wall unit that one door is not properly connected and there nothing the store Manager could do about and the door may fall out anytime. 3. Full kitchen cabinet set that the top of the Cabinet does not match the one for the stove because the top was finished from the factory, but recently I went to the Pretorius Street Store in Pretoria were I bought all my stuff and only to find the Cabinet on display with the same top that I was told it was finished from the factory!!!!!
Bradlows owes all the complaining customer a followup on each complaint and give us a satisfying answer or fix their furniture. One thing for sure is the furniture does not come cheap but the service is up to PAW PAWS. and boy do they have rude ladies working in the finance department?

i have purchased a Sansui Plasma Television from Witbank Bradlows in April 2006. The televison total costs R19 000,00 with an agreed instalment of 793.00 per month. The television started giving me problems with cutting off screen viewing during October 2007 and send in for repairs with Bradlows due to the guarantee claim. When Bradlows gave it back it couls not sound on one speaker 0n the left hand side. In January 2007 it gave me a similar problem by not viewing screen again. I then informed Bradlows about the problem and send the television for exchange for a new on. They refused to exchange and said they will send it in for repairs again. They the phoned me after a month for collection and when I got back home to test it could not work at all. I was angry and informed to that they have give me a new television with no hesitation. The lady manager said to me she would not tell if I will have a new television as she is not the one who sold it to me but Nancy the salesperson. At the moment I do not have a Television but continues paying without my problem being solved of warranty claim. I now need my money to be paid back or a new television be send to me within this month, May 2007. Is there any help that you can offer to have my values back. I am already thinking of stopping the credit agreement with the bank for Bradlows. Please help
