Caltex Woolworths (The Range, Toowoomba) elects to close up its service station to customers in the middle of Saturday morning (10.30, 5/12/08)) - during prime retailing time so a tanker can replenish the tanks. This is not the first time. This shows a arrongant contempt for customers that Caltex elects to find a time convenient to it, not customers, to so these tasks. Probably for cost cutting reasons (cant fill at night when the store is closed, good god no, that would mean paying higher rates. This prachappens at Caltex Woolworths WIlsonton too.
Can you imagine the uproar if Havery Norman or McDonalds decided to close for an hour or so during peak time so it could do a stocktake?
This contemptuous attitude of the oil companies makes me wish the government would set up a nationalised presence to keep these bastards aware of who makes them such a money spinner.
