I went into the Bundoora store of Centre Com hoping to buy a dvd housing an some RAM. Instantly the guy that served was rude and standoffish. (If felt like he didn't even want to make the transaction)
I had researched the prices on their websites, but when i got to the store he wanted to charge me $35 more for the items instore. (Ridiculous!!). WHen i asked why, the guy could not even be bothered to explain. His reply was "you are not getting that item at that price", he told me to leave and go order it online and pay the $22 P&H and 2% credit card fees. He kept groaning on top of that!
I guess he must have assumed that as a female, i wouldn't know anything about computers...opps i wonder what that IT degree is doing hanging on my wall? Regardless of that, if it too much to ask to have someone talk to you like a human being??!?
I definitely don't recommend dealing with CENTRE COM in Bundoora. If you must, definitely stay away from the Indian guy sitting on the little desk. The other sales assistants seemed to be more helpful, but who knows.
