We have been waiting for over 2 months for DacAps to fix our washing machine. Every time they finally show up, it breaks again within the week. We had to wait 4 weeks for a 'part' that they told us would be 5 days. The call centre staff are rude, offensive and unhelpful.
Slow service, poor quality service. Disgusting customer service. Do not use this company if you can avoid it. They deal with insurance claims, via extended warranty from Harvey Norman... why bother buyng extended warranties, when the service is so useless??
This is the most appalling company I have come acroos to date!
Dacap will provide you with slow and inefficient services. I do not recommend them to anyone. We are still waiting on an oven that was booked 3 weeks ago. Extremely disorganised!!!!!!
I have a Samsung side by side fridge which developed a problem with frosting up on the fridge side on 6th June. A repairman attended on the 9th June but had the wrong part. I paid for the callout and was told that a new part would be ordered and I would be contacted in due course. On 16th June I received an email from the manager with a quote for the part and fitting. I paid for the part as requested so that it could be ordered. On or around 8th July I was contacted to advise that a repairman could come out on the 9th July to fit the part. My husband took the day off work and waited around all day for the repairman not to show up. At 5.15pm the same day I received a call from the repairman advising that he couldn't make it and that the office would call to reschedule. I rang the office the next day and asked when I might expect the part to be fitted. I was told that the part had been lost! I was contacted later in the day to be advised that it had been found and could be fitted the following day. When the repairman arrived, it was the wrong part. I rang last week to ask when the part might be fitted. I was told that the new part hadn't arrived from Samsung but I would get a call when it did. I emailed the manager yesterday, the 28th July, to ask if the part had arrived and received a one liner back advising that the part had arrived and could be fitted tomorrow. Today, the 29th July, the repairman arrived at 1.45pm (after telling them I would be available in the morning) ... guess what? You guessed it ... the wrong part! I have complained twice in writing to the manager with no response to date. I have complained on numerous occasions by phone to the call takers. Nada! My first call was on 6th June resulting in a service call for 9th June. The serviceman had the wrong part on board and was unable to fix the fridge at that time. I have personally complained in writing to you since that time and not had any response. I have been charged for the first call out and have paid for the part, whatever it is and whenever it arrives. Both my husband and I have been inconvenienced waiting around for a serviceman who doesn't arrive or doesn't arrive on time. On one occasion, my husband took the day off work and waited all day, only to find that the serviceman called me at work at 5.15pm to let me know that he couldn't come that day. When I rang the following day to ask when he would be coming out, I was told by your calltaker that the part had been lost! I would like you to know that our time is not free and in future I will be billing your organisation for our lost time if a serviceman is expected and doesn't arrive at the allotted time. I believe that your organisation is taking for granted the good nature of the public and the requirement they have for their products to be fixed and I think I have been very patient. Despite my numerous calls to your customer care line (as if ... ) I am still being disappointed and my fridge is still waiting for the appropriate attention. Your calltakers have always been pleasant and tell me that my complaints are valid and are being heard; that the company does care about bad service and frustrated customers. But you know what? I honestly don't think you do care ... at the end of the day it's your company and you are losing customers. Wake up!
