We installed a reverse cycle air con with inverter in 7/7/03, we have had no trouble till now, switched over to heat for winter, does not work, we have been told it will cost $1112.00 for repairs, power filter board $422.00. control board assembly $490.00 Labour $200. Recommend boards should be treated with Lanotech spray.
We where not told about this when it was installed, was advised this was a very good system for us, as we live in a coastal area, no info in handbook. rang Daikin they are not interested in it at all, very bad customer service, no feedback as they new this was a problem some time ago we were not contacted at all, most dissapointed in this out come will not recommend a Daiken to people at all.
