Purchased a $519.00 split system Air-Conditioning unit from these guys on 28-11-2007.
Have had no luck getting the item, after paying there and then online at www.dailydeals.com.au i have contaced Nick G from Daily Deals and he told me to contact their supplier to get postage details and find out when i would get it. They told me it would be here before christmas. What do you know? I'm still waiting. Spent one hour on phone waiting for them to answer, and no answer, business day during business hours how could they be so busy not to answer the phone after one hour.
I gave up calling in the end, they seem to hide their telephone contact details the best they can on their website and will only talk in email where i get nothing bu a lack of understanding and no common sense.
This item was purchased well before Christmas as a Christmas gift and i am still waiting. I have since requested a refund and was told that the best they can do is refund the shipping cost when it arrives.
They can not provide me with the service they promise then they have no choice but to refund me in full. The other main thing is that i was told that the item was not in stock, their supplier was waiting on the latest shipment. Optical Pty Ltd is the supplier of this particular Air-Conditioner.
I have contacted them over and over and most of the issues i raise go un-answered, no wonder they do not want to talk on the phone, because on the phone they can't avoid the point.
Daily Deals this is not fair, perhaps your company did not deserve to get off the ground and start turning over $10 million dollars in the 2006/07 financial year.
With poor customer service like this it's a wonder that they still operate. I'm wondering if i will ever see my money again.
