This is an email that was sent to the Manager of Dirt Cheap Cameras Hi Ray, I wish to cancel my complete order for the Canon Print Invoice # XXXX. This order was originally placed on the 15/09/2009. I was originally informed by Emanuel during my conversation with him that the printer would be ready for pick up on the Monday or Tuesday the following week (5 days). After ringing your company to chase the order I was then informed on the 23rd that the printer would be ready for pick up on the 29th - Tues. At this point, I felt the need to send myself an email to document what had transpired to date (see below). yesterday I was informed that the printer won’t be ready until the 9th of Oct. This is totally unacceptable. Not only have you failed to supply me a printer in the timeframe given to me by your staff, you have also failed on all accounts to notify me of the situation. Very poor customer service! To make matters worse, on the 17th of Oct we discovered that $7,790.95 was deducted from my credit card account. Upon speaking to Emanuel and Richard they confirmed that this was obviously an accident and that they would refund the money to me. I was also pleasantly informed that they could only refund $1000 at a time due to daily bank restrictions on the account. As of today, 1st Oct, I have only received a refund of $5000 which is 2 weeks after the original incident. All outstanding money should have been refunded by now. After speaking to Richard earlier yesterday I informed him I will probably ring back to cancel the order due to the time delay. At approximately 2:45pm yesterday (1st Oct) I rang back to cancel the order only to be told that you would refund the price of the printer however I would still have to pay for the paper cassette tray due to a special order. How ridiculous! I have already lodged a dispute with Westpac - reference number XXXXXXXXXX. I would suggest that you refund the full amount in the name of customer service. If you refuse with my request I fully intend to see this dispute through to the very end. I will also post my experience with your company on every forum I can find to alert the general public of what to expect when they deal with dirt cheap cameras. THIS EMAIL HAS BOUNCED BACK TO ME 7 TIMES TO DATE USING THE EMAIL ADDRESS PROVIDED ON THEIR WEBSITE (see below) ___________________________________________________________ Email sent from home to work to document what had transpired to date Spoke to Emanuel again today to discuss the refund and delivery of our printer. Richard rang me back at 11:45am to discuss. Printer now delivered on the 29th or a couple of days later. Refunds are currently being processed at $1000 at a time due to terminal limits from their end. __________________________________________________________________ Email of complaint that has bounced back 7 times Hi.
