I became a dealer for Fluid Kayaks during 2009. I put an add on the web and the orders came in. During November 2009 Marinus, one of the owners of Fluid, contact me and said that I must remove the add as the other dealers are complaining about my selling prices. We came to an agreement that I will take the prices of the web, but keep the add. About a week later I received an e mail from Marinus informing me that he can not supply me with kayaks anymore. I replied to enquire why not, and his reasons were that I sell the kayaks for to cheap and that because I'm a cellphone store owner, I only sell the kayaks for an extra income. Nowhere on Fluid's pricelist is a fixed selling price, ONLY a reccommended selling price. It looks to me as if Fluid makes themselves guilty of price fixing - a very serious offence, not only in South Africa.
