Forty Winks Kotara (NSW, Australia)
We ordered a very expensive bedroom suite last November. The bed arrived and was fine. Due to an ordering mix-up, the bedside chests and tallboy were not available for some months, so we had to make do with some damaged floor stock from another store. About March, the replacement bedside chests and tallboy arrived, and to our disgust, had a finish like orange-peel. Very rough. We complained several times, I took a bedside chest to the store to show them, and another employee of the store even came to my house to inspect the rough surface finish. I could sense their disbelief, and that of the manufacturer who contacted my wife (very unprofessional). Finally, 7 months after the original order, the new chests and tallboy have arrived. Surface finish is good (as good as the bed, anyway), and all the timbers are nice, clear samples. All except for that one right in the middle of the tallboy, riddled with nail holes and very dodgy putty. I give up. i can't see myself wandering in to any Forty Winks store again.
We bought a bed for my 2 year old daughter on June 10th 2010. We were told it'll take about a week to get delivered. 2 weeks later and we hadn't heard from them, so I called to check on the progress, to be told that it was on it's way over from the eastern states and they didn't know when it would arrive. It would have been nice if they could have contacted me and let us know the bed was not in stock. Had we known we would have got a different bed or gone somewhere else. So another week later and unhappy with getting no information last call, I rang again and got told it would be arriving on July 10th. Still not here and I haven't heard from them, so I will have to call again. We paid up front for bed so they have there money, they're happy, but we don't have a bed and will never buy anything from them again!!
