Back in 2006, we paid about $1800 to have 5 windows made. I took in the measurements and explained to a staff member that I had measured the stud opening in and required windows to fit between these studs. When we went to collect the windows we found they had no wood around the frame. The manager advised he would provide a revised quote to have the wood factored in. When the windows were received they did not fit because the initial staff member who assisted me failed to let me know that we needed to factor in 2cm for height and width in order for the windows to fit between the stud opening. The manager we spoke to denied any incompetence from his now ex-staff member and stated that this ex-staff member was no longer with them to explain his side. I also outlined to the manager that when he requoted me to add on wood around the window frame, he failed to point out that he had also added on more expensive windows to the quote in addition to the wood - the more expensive double hung windows were not requested or received by me. I had to pay to have the windows re-cut and faxed to Rainbow Windows a letter outlining my complaint about being charged for the more expensive windows - even after several follow up calls the manager has never bothered to contact me in relation to the complaint. I had reception staff tell me that he is looking into the query but the manager has never bothered call me back...

Rainbow Windows have a problem with giving lead times and providing any customer service.They promise to ring back and dont. They tell you that the product is on the truck and it is not. They become agitated and tell you to cancell the order knowing that you are committed. They are arrogant and rude. Never never never use this company
