Absolutely incredible, my daughter has had all the same problems, word for word, this was as if she had written it herself except it is the Brisane branch of Run. Absolutely bloody useless as property managers. You wouldn't want to be the investor would you????

RUN property is HORRIBLE! I am dealing with their Potts Point NSW office and they act the same as the comments here... They do not want to help, they do not return phone calls, emails, refuse to contact Body Corporate/Strata and say I need to. I deal with a Julie Souter and Casey Renel

OMG! this rental agency is horrible. i have made probably 15 phone calls in the past week and not one person has gotten back to me! noone know who was the agent for my rental for a while there aswell, and im still waiting on a phone call back! the service is horrible. and i will never rent through them again!

Our agent Tammi is the most unprofessional person I have ever dealt with. never returns calls and makes excuses as to progress on maintenance issues. they take months to resolve after we call constantly.

My boyfriend and I have been renting with Run for about 4 months. Before we moved in the back part of our roof fell in (Feb this year) we have tried to call people from Run to get someone to fix it as it is freezing in our house and they have done nothing. When I finally did get on to someone, they said that it would take another month to fix the roof....its the middle of winter!!.......And when our toilet stopped working (broken cistern) I called emergency maintanence (who were fantastic on go on to it straight away) but then my boyfriend recieved a call from our real estate agent, saying that a toiled that doesn't flush is not an emergency!!!

We also had a bit of our fence fall in (before we were living there) and instead of reparing the fence properly, they just joined the gap the the side of the house, so now we have an unlockable window facing directly on to the street.

I feel absolutely powerless to do anything about any of these problems as we don't want to loose our lease, but RUN property are an absolute joke of a real estate agency.

We have been renting through run for over 1 year so far we have had 3 different people in charge of our property. At one stage no one knew who was in charge of our property.

We have also been waiting over a year for maintenance to be completed some health and safety related. Run property do not call you back and have no regard for our renting issues. I have had to go through consumer affairs just to get things done and still we are waiting for simple phone calls about what’s going on. Some of the repairs have been carried out but now I am still waiting to find out what goes on with the rest of the repairs. I served a notice of repair over 14 days ago, what happens now??? I have no idea because no one calls me back. The notice of repair was sent around the 1st of November.

Our rent increased after a year and we still haven’t had repairs done. I feel like i'm constantly ringing run and not getting anything in return. I simple phone call letting me know what’s going on would be great.
People (customers) wouldn’t be so hard to deal with if the real estate agents actually did their job. I just feel ignored. I have been renting properties for 12 years and have never had any problems until now. Most people I speak to that have dealt with Run say the same thing and generally give a bad response. So far I have heard nothing but bad news about RUN Property. I couldn’t even find out where to send a complaint.
I apparently got put through to head office to speak to someone incharge to find out what to do and the man was very unhelpful he had no interest in what I was saying and told me to email Essendon office with my complaint.

I just don’t know where to go from here, some information or help would be great. So far we have had a leaking toilet for at least 3 months!

Matty Marinakis from Run Property is a very rude and unprofessional person. She never returns your calls, and take ages before following up on simple matters. She speaks in a very condescending manner and is my worst experience of bad customer service!

I do not recommend anyone to rent with Run Property. I have been renting for over 10 years with other agencies and had no problems. With Run Property from the day of application everything they did was very unprofessional. The agents never pick up their phone whether it was for emergency reasons such as faulty pressure valve on the hot water tank, they never inform you of anything and blame the post office for not sending the letter to me. They try to cover up their incompetency saying "legal this and that" but they don't even follow the rules themselves and they don't even know the law. They never mentioned to me about the property inspection, just turned up out of nowhere. Run Property is run by a bunch of unqualified people and run like a fast food chain. They provide absolutely no service, never answer the phone, never send you notification letter, nothing. I am not suprised at this because these are people who think they can actually make money just doing rentals, come on. Run away from Run Property because they always do a Runner!

As an aside we have also had quite a lot of trouble getting in touch with Christie (Love) to confirm details in regard to our vacating Stawell Street. We are still waiting for a letter detailing our obligations when we vacate that was supposed to be sent several weeks ago (I spoke to Christie and she said this would be sent). I also missed out on a new property due to Christie not getting back to the Agent promptly in regard to my reference check, the Agent told me this directly.. I also know that our landlord was not aware we were vacating until we told her last week, so generally our experience in the past month or so with Christie has not been good.
