Sofa Store - Alexandria ( New South Wales, Australia)

On the 13/9, I ordered a corner sofa, with ottoman and 5 extra rectangle large cushions for over $3,000. 3 weeks later on 7/10, I hired a trailer and collected the sofa from the Alexandria store, and was assured by Burnadette that all was inside the plastic wrapping, however, when I unwrapped it found there the 5 cushions were missing from the order. I called the following day (8/10) to be told Burnadette, was not in the store till the following Tuesday (10/10) , but she would call back then. After not receiving a call, I called her late in the afternoon, to be reassured that the cushions would be ready on Friday 13/10, and that they would be couriered to me, without any apology for the stuff up. After waiting 2 weeks. I called again Wednesday (25/10), and was told Burnadette was not in the store but will call back……..no return call. I also called thursday 26/10 and spoke to Jo who gave me the same story…..not in at the moment but will call back….. no return call. I called again 31/10, and finally got Burnadette. The cushions had arrived, but they are not prepared to deliver them. In stort, Burnadette, who is the store manager is extreemly rude, and is a lyer! If you are considering purchasing from this store, expect to be stuffed around! Also, before collecting or signing that you have recieved the goods, make sure you remove the plastic wrap, and check everything twice!!
