Union Telecom ( ontario, Canada)

2009-06-11

I am emailing you regarding the dispute I am currently having with Union Telecom. I first received a call from Union telecom, they gave me a deal, and for confirmation I asked them to send me an email with the details of the promotion (attached). After viewing the email, I accepted the promotion and gave Union Telecom my credit card number. NOTE: there was no authorization given to take money from my account. At the beginning I had paid a $39.50 security deposit. Once this deposit was paid it was supposed to be subtracted from my balance on the first bill, this was not done. I had told them I would pay the monthly bill, by myself. I have called Union Telecom Customer Services countless times, only to be given no answer. I ask to speak to a manager, but still no proper assistance, I’ve asked for assistance in my own language, and I am told that I would be called back but still have not. To this day I have not received any invoice or document through the mail. I had requested them to send me the bill through the mail, but still have not. Also, the rate given to me in the original promotional email is not the same rate I am being charged at. I have emailed them twice, and still received no reply. I had spoken to a customer service man who had told me to email him with all the details and within a week he would sort out the problem. That email was sent on May 3, 2009, the date today is May 27, 2009. As a result of all this, I have sent a complaint to the Better Business Bureau.
