I had my car in for repair at Riverside Mitsubishi / Kia. One of the items was alternator. When I picked up the car, the engine idle about 2k rpm, this is not normal, I though that they just washed the car and the engine are cold to cause this. On my way home the car keep down shifting, I though the belt was to tight and cause this problem, when I open the hood and find that the wiring to the alternator was not plug in and had melted against the manifold, I looked at the connector on the alternator, not even a scratch or any mark, this tells me that the mechanic never bother to plug the wiring in, (my car is a little dirty and grimy in the engine) I brought my car back to the dealer and talked to the service manager, pointing out the problem, and ask that they don’t splice the harness to install new connector instead if he could give me a new harness. The service manager raised his voice at me and said “no”; he also stated “I have a human working on this car”. I then got pissed off and really go off. After about 1 ½ they return the car to me. Still having the problem I went to the two garages next door to where I work and they did confirmed that because of the tight belt will cause the engine to down shift and loose gas mileage. They also point it out that a screw and a bolt were not installed. I brought the car back and ask to talk to the General Manager, couple of the staff there told him I was waiting for him. He walked passed me without even looking at me. When I asked him if he was aware that I was waiting for him, he said “yes but I won’t talk to every customer”. This is very bad service especially that he knows that I had brought my car in 2 times already. I found out that he was also the owner of this company. If you like to know his name, search Google for Riverside Mitsubishi and you will find his name. In the future I will not bother him or disturbed him anymore, because the customer is not important enough.
